Belly Bowls Revisited

So far so good with bowl number two. It needs a bit of trimming, it is amazingly asymmetrical. Some of the imbalance is excess clay, but a lot of it has to do with the baby I think…
They look pretty different. I used the same belly with exactly one week between the moldings. Bowl number two is almost ready for the next step!

You could do it! I recommend it, I don’t have an end product yet, but trying sure has been a lot of fun! I was encouraged by a local open studio (http://www.fatcatpottery.com) where anyone can go and work. Maybe your community has something similar?

They look amazing!! Glad to see they are coming along so wonderfully! Definitely keep the visual updates coming
